We are very proud of the trips that are organised on an annual basis during the school holidays. These trips give the boys a huge range of experiences and allow them to enjoy time away with their teachers and their peers in a relaxed environment. Holiday trips are advertised up to a year in advance to specified year groups. As these trips are entirely optional parents are asked to cover the full cost. Places are usually allocated by drawing names from a hat as the trips are often oversubscribed. Last year groups travelled to France (Sailing Y5-8), Italy (Cultural Y8), Norway (Geographical Y7), Austria (Skiing Y5-8), France (Snowboarding Y5-8), Italy (Skiing again Y5-8 Race team) and finally France (Cultural Y5-8) again. These trips are in addition to the three sports tours including an U13 Cricket tour to South Africa. This is all topped off with an educational exchange with Bishops School in Cape Town. It is truly an ever-expanding programme.
The film below is of last year's ski trip to Obertauern in Austria and gives a great feel of how much the boys and staff (quite literally) throw themselves in to these trips.
