Sam Borden; Age 10; The Journey, Colouring pencils and pencil

This image is about a man walking to the mountains in search of peace and quiet. He is alone and he is on a journey to prove to himself that he has the courage and strength to survive in the wilderness. This is about Man's desire to overcome the challenges and difficulties of life. The man is on a journey.

I was inspired by some mountain images I had seen and I like being out in the open. I like the quirkiness of Picasso and the freedom he shows in his work and that the picture does not have to be perfect to be liked.
