U13 Rugby v Shrewsbury House School

Sportsmanship, school values, camaraderie, skill and agility were all on display in the U13 Rugby fixtures v Shrewsbury House School on Monday. With internal and external exams, illness and senior school visits, we were down to bare bones for numbers in teams. Everybody willing and available got on the bus and the outcome was outstanding. Our 3rd XIII (mostly 4th XIII players) battled hard and never gave up against a stronger Shrewsbury House School team. Our 2nd XIII (a mix of 2nd and 3rd  XIII) were glorious in defeat, losing by a single try, 7-8, with end to end rugby and arguably one of the best team performances of the year. Finally, our wonderful 1st XIII, played a remarkable game and won 9-3. Mr Adkins called it the ‘best performance of the year’ from the team, who were physical, skilful, hardworking and humble – great ambassadors for Dulwich Prep London. Well done boys!

U9 Rugby – Shrewsbury House School Festival

A beautiful wintry afternoon welcomed the U9 rugby players to Shrewsbury House on Friday. The only thing that was perhaps more stunning was the quality of rugby played by the boys in their debut for Dulwich Prep. The first two games in particular were very impressive, with the boys scoring 6 tries and conceding only 2. There was a small dip after the lunch break but the boys should be very proud of the way that they played and also how they conducted themselves throughout the day.

Dulwich Prep & Senior Announcement

We are delighted to share that we will be extending our provision from ages 3-13 to ages 2-16. Our first Year 9 cohort will start in September 2025.

As a highly commended school at this year’s Independent School of the Year Awards, we are excited to share that we will become Dulwich Prep & Senior.

We will continue to be a school of choice, maintaining our exceptional Prep offering with the option of staying to GCSE. Our support of families in finding the right senior school or sixth form at the right time for their sons will remain at our core, whether that be at ages 11, 13 or 16.

Our key entry points will be Nursery, Reception, Year 3, Year 7 and Year 9. Occasional places may be available in other year groups.

If you would like your son to be one of our ‘Trailblazers’ and join Year 9 in 2025 or 2026, please get in touch with our Admissions Department for further details.
