The Easter holidays saw 23 boys and 4 staff travel to Serre Chevalier in France for the annual Snowboard Trip. 2016 is our tenth year of travelling to this top French resort where we stay in a fantastic 3* hotel called Le Plein Sud which has its own pool.
The boys were fantastically well looked after, both in the hotel, with amazing 3 course menus, and on the piste with the brilliant Ski Connections instructors. Six days of blue skies gave near perfect conditions for the boys and they made outstanding progress on their boards.
We enjoyed various fun activities ranging from a lunchtime BBQ at the top of the mountain and karaoke in resort to bowling and “snooking” on Le Mickey. However, for a number of boys (and adults!) the highlight was a ride in a “piste basher” doing 360 degree spins and weaving through the trees!
Comments were regularly passed on by hotel staff, other residents and the general public about the wonderful manners of the boys. Thanks to the staff and boys alike for making this one of the most enjoyable trips to date!
