Year 1 ended their topic on transport with a visit to Brooklands Museum. The highlights of the day included a guided tour of one of the few remaining Concordes left in the world and being allowed to sit in Ayrton Senna’s Formula One racing car. The boys immersed themselves in the history of transport, from seeing the first London Omnibus to the most recent double decker. They were also lucky enough to walk around the newly renovated aircraft factory and hangar. All the boys enjoyed sharing their knowledge of various modes of transport as well as learning new and exciting facts.
