Bell ringing at St Stephen's

Posted: 21st November 2018

For the first time our Year 8 boys became bell ringers at St Stephen’s on Remembrance Sunday. Even with a little technical explanation from Rev. Schűnemann and a practice the day before (it was a real treat and pleasure to be able to do this), the boys realised that bell ringing is quite a tricky, technical and physical test (the bell weighs 1 ton). We hope this will become a regular feature of Prep Services at St. Stephen’s and that different boys will get a chance to become ‘campanologists’!
