Last week, boys from Year 1 to Y7 took part in the ‘Hour of Code’ event. The Hour of Code takes place every year in 180+ countries and helps pupils learn basic code. Boys had the opportunity to try new coding tutorials and receive a certificate after completing their activities. This year, the main tutorial was based on a ‘Minecraft’ simulation. It was wonderful to see so many boys achieving their certificate.
Boys can also try the ‘Hour of Code’ at home, by logging onto the internet website www.code.org from a computer or iPad.
