Friday evening saw the Oscars come to Dulwich Prep London for Year 3. A buzz and a razzmatazz filled the corridors as the boys changed into their finery and walked the ‘red carpet’ to the Concert Hall.
Not even the downpour of rain could cast a cloud on our budding actors, cameramen, script writers and directors as they sat waiting for El Dorado, the Lost City of Gold to begin!
3L delighted us with extracts in green screen and puppetry at the Amazon River, while the boys in 3C demonstrated their diverse acting skills to the full as they shared a complex story of loss, love, hidden truths and adventure. For the boys in 3D and 3W there were more twists and turns with crocodiles, helicopter scenes and prison cells. All four movies were written, filmed and edited by the boys themselves. Watch out Hollywood, you are about to be overrun with Prep boys!
