Extended Day Provision

At Dulwich Prep London we have a vibrant and extended childcare provision designed to support working parents requiring flexibility outside school hours.

Our Extended Day Provision @38, that’s 38 Alleyn Park, can be tailored to meet the needs of any family.

Timings

Our extended day provision begins as early as 7.00 am, depending on the age group, and includes breakfast. After school pupils can stay as late as 7.30 pm, however, this is dependent on age. Please download the Parents’ Guide for full details and pricing.

Staffing

We run a fully managed programme which is overseen by our full-time teaching staff who ensure that children are well cared for and engaged in fun activities whilst on site. The school staff are assisted by Play Leaders, employed by the school, in running a variety of activities.

Activities

Dulwich Prep London extended day provision aims to give that “home away from home” feeling. We offer prep time, organised activities, multisport options, creative and craft sessions as well as free play. All of the activities are tailored to meet the needs of the specific age groups.

Location

Once boys and girls have completed their after school clubs or prep sessions they are able to seamlessly transfer to our extended day provision. With this provision taking place on school grounds, they are immediately at ease and comfortable in familiar surroundings full of familiar faces. We make use of the facilities on our whole Alleyn Park site to run activities. Spaces such as the library, sports hall, playgrounds and quiet areas are used for an array of activities.
