Music Tuition

Individual instruction is charged by the individual teachers at a rate of £22.50 per lesson. There are usually 30 lessons per year.

A charge will be made for the hire of a school instrument by arrangement with the Music Department.

Bursaries

We offer a limited number of means-tested bursaries to new applicants entering Year 3 or above who would otherwise not be able to afford to come to Dulwich Prep London. These pupils are academically gifted boys who have the aptitude to benefit from the varied opportunities which the School offers.

Applications for bursary places should be made by the registration deadline in mid November in the year prior to entry. Applicants will be invited to attend for assessment at which they will be required to complete a number of tests as well as an interview. To make an application please click here and complete the dedicated Bursary Registration Form. (There is no need to complete the standard Online Registration Form below.)

In addition to the above form, parents must complete a confidential statement of financial circumstances which requests full details of income and capital resources. Prior to the offer of an award, a home visit will be made to discuss these details.

Bursaries are reviewed annually and may be adjusted or introduced if parents’ circumstances change during a pupil’s time at the school.

Open Morning

Due to social distancing requirements we will not be able to host our annual Open Morning due to take place on Saturday 3rd Oct 2020. This event will be replaced by a virtual tour and a chance to meet the Head Master at a live Q&A session.

Please complete our enquiry form if you would like to be contacted about virtual events and to request more information.
