Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Lead SENDCo, with a passion for children’s education, to lead the SEND department, practice and provision across the School.

 

The Lead SENDCo will be responsible for day to day operation of the SEND policy and co-ordination of specific provision to support individual pupils with SEND. This will include organising staff to deliver on expert intervention programmes, providing professional guidance to colleagues, organising and running a yearly calendar of SEND provision and being accountable for the impact of the SEND provision.

 

The successful candidate will have awareness of ‘Twice Exceptional’ children, hold Qualified Teacher Status, the NASENCO award, and will be able to demonstrate their breadth of experience as a SENDCo, a teacher and a line manager.
