Job Description

We are looking to appoint a highly organised individual with effective interpersonal and communication skills to support our current Clerk to the Governors.

The successful candidate would be expected to support the Clerk on procedural and legal matters; prepare and circulate agendas; take minutes; maintain and archive records; handle administration and correspondence, and deal with sensitive issues in a confidential manner.

This is a part time role, working on average 2 days a week as well as attendance at governor meetings.  It would suit someone with a good knowledge of governance and school compliance, experience of minute writing and with meticulous attention to detail. Experience as a company secretary and / or clerking experience for a school governing body is desirable but not essential.
