Job Description

We are looking to appoint an experienced person to supervise pupils (Yrs 1 – 8) in carrying out pre-prepared exercises when teaching staff are on short-term absence: managing the classroom and ensuring that pupils remain on task with the work they have been set. This role will also assist in the planning and administration of organising cover.

The successful candidate will be working at or towards the national occupational standards (NOS) in Supporting Teaching & Learning, and will have specialist training in behaviour management techniques. Experience of working with iSAMs MIS system or equivalent is desirable.

This is a full time role working during the School’s term-time. It would suit someone who enjoys working with young people, has knowledge and compliance with policies and procedures relevant to child protection and health and safety, and who has a proactive and flexible attitude to all tasks.

As this is a supervisory post it is open to applicants without a teaching qualification.

Please read the accompanying Job Description and Application Explanatory Notes. Completed application forms, along with a covering letter explaining your suitability for this role and the Equal Opportunities Form, should be sent to Tamsin Hutson, HR Manager, at recruitment@dulwichpreplondon.org

Closing Date: Thursday 23 June 2022, 12 noon

Interviews: week commencing 27 June 2022

We reserve the right to appoint at any time during the recruitment process.
