Job Description

We are looking to recruit an outstanding teacher who has a strong sense of confidence in the classroom and who possesses a flexible, ’can do’ attitude, to join our team for one year in September 2023 or January 2024. We would welcome applicants who are creative, energetic and who have a willingness to be involved in the extra-curricular life of the School.

The English department is a thriving team with a varied and strong level of expertise. We are looking for an inspirational teacher to work in this intellectually challenging and supportive department. A love of English is essential, as is the willingness to work with colleagues to continue to develop pedagogy.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong subject knowledge and would be expected to teach English up to Year 8; experience teaching Key Stage 3 and GCSE would be desirable.
