We are looking to recruit an Events and Development Assistant who will assist the Marketing Manager with the organisation and delivery of a high-quality programme of school events for pupils, parents, alumni, and the wider community, which provide meaningful opportunities to become involved in and significantly contribute to supporting the school’s aims.
The successful candidates will be responsible for Coordinating the logistical planning and implementation of pupil, parent, and alumni events, supporting the Event Sponsor and Marketing Manager. This may include the initial briefing, allocation of tasks, coordination, logistics, on-the-day management, follow-up, budgeting, and evaluation. Degree or relevant qualification in events management or fundraising would be advantageous. Excellent computer literacy, with a good familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Docs, and creative design programmes such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva and Microsoft Publisher is essential.
The hours are: 8.30am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday, 36 weeks each year are to include all term time weeks, INSET days plus a few days at the beginning and end of each academic year, as directed by your Line Manager.
