Job Description

We are looking for a confident and competent person to deliver first aid, treatment and supervision to pupils and staff who are injured, unwell or upset, and to provide administrative support to key medical and well-being staff.

Amongst other duties, the successful candidate will:

  • Assist in providing high quality care to pupils across the whole school under the guidance of the Lead Nurse and, in their absence, in accordance with the school policies and protocols;
  • Promote the health and well-being of pupils and staff;
  • Co-ordinate medical supplies and activities;
  • Liaise with staff and parents as necessary

We would welcome all applicants who are team focused and enthusiastic, who possess excellent administrative and organisational skills and who can demonstrate a working knowledge of Google docs and management information systems. The successful applicant will also have good understanding of the important of confidentiality and safeguarding issues with working in a school and will be willing to undertake ad-hoc jobs as  needed. Experience of working in a School environment would be an advantage, as would a current qualification in First Aid.

It is envisaged that the post holder would work 3 days each week, 8am to 4pm, for 35 weeks a year during the School’s term time.
