We are looking for a Swim School Supervisor who will be responsible for the administration and management of the Saturday Swim School, overseeing its smooth running on Saturdays, and contributing to its expansion in the forthcoming year.
The Saturday Swim School runs term time only, for 30 weeks/year, from 7.30am to 12.00pm, although this is expected to increase to a full day, running 7.30am to 4pm, in Spring Term 2024. There will also be 0.5 days (on average) of administration each week during the School’s term time (35 weeks/year).
The successful candidate will be responsible for organising the Saturday Swim School programme, working poolside for the day and managing the Swim School staff, and working to improve and expand the Saturday Swim School provision. Previous experience as a swimming teacher or coach, along with a Level 2 ASA Swimming Teachers / Coaching Certificate (or equivalent) is essential. A current Rescue Test for Teachers (NRASTC) and/or National Pool and Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) would be advantageous.
