We’re looking for a  Swimming Coach/Teacher who will be responsible for coaching and assisting in the development of swimmers across the whole School, contributing to the development of swimming in line with the Sports Development Plan and ensuring all pupils’ experience is a positive and enjoyable one.

The successful candidates will be responsible for planning and implementing training sessions in the water, for the development of skills and performance and have an understanding of the integration of successful sports performance programmes into a school’s educational environment. QTS would be an advantage but not a requirement. Previous experience as a Swim Coach / Teacher, along with a Level 2 ASA Swimming Teachers / Coaching Certificate (or equivalent) and a current Rescue Test for Teachers (NRASTC) and/or National Pool and Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is essential.

The hours are: 8.00am to 4.30pm, plus a proportional share of pastoral and organisational duties, Monday to Friday.
