Pre-Prep Trip to Peter Pan

Posted: 6th December 2016

Greenwich-1

The entire Pre-Prep had a delightful start to the Christmas season last week, with a visit to Greenwich Theatre to see the fantastic and hilarious pantomime of Peter Pan.

This was not your traditional Peter Pan as we know it– the story was set in modern day London, where we find the great-great-granddaughter of Wendy working in a fish market.

She is tired of her drab and boring life, where all imagination and colour seems to have disappeared. All of a sudden, her magical necklace begins to ring, signalling that the legendary Peter Pan must be in mortal danger!  And so the girls followed Wendy on her exciting adventure into Neverland.

The Pre-Prep rocked the theatre to awesome pop hits as well as cheering for their hero Peter Pan and booing at the antics of the sinister Captain Hook. The Dame’s outfits reached a new level of silliness and the amazing sets and scenery left everyone gasping with delight.  Amongst the hilarity was a touching and important moral – never stop using your imagination. The boys returned to school buzzing with ideas and excitement for the festive season.  “Oh no they didn’t…Oh yes they did!”
