Contract For Educational Services

Bursaries

We offer a limited number of means-tested bursaries to new applicants entering Year 3 or above who would otherwise not be able to afford to come to Dulwich Prep London. These pupils are academically gifted boys who have the aptitude to benefit from the school’s varied opportunities.

Applications for bursary places should be made by the registration deadline in mid-November, the year prior to entry. Applicants will be invited to attend an assessment at which they will complete a number of tests and an interview. To make an application, please complete the form below.

Bursary Application Form

In addition to the application form, parents must complete a confidential statement of financial circumstances, which requests full details of income and capital resources. Before the offer of an award, a home visit will be made to discuss these details.

Bursaries are reviewed annually and may be adjusted or introduced if parents’ circumstances change during a pupil’s time at the school.

Additional Costs

Music Tuition

The respective teachers charge individual instruction at £25.50 per lesson. There are usually 30 lessons per year. If a pupil needs to hire a school instrument, please contact the Music Department directly. There will be a separate charge for the hire.
