Swimmers through to Final

Posted: 26th January 2016

On Thursday 21st January a team of boys from years 3 – 6 took part in the London Independent Schools Swimming Championships Semi-Final at Dulwich College. The stakes were high in this competition, as only the top 3 teams would qualify for the London Grand Final.

This was a very tough competition and all boys swam exceedingly well and achieved personal bests in their individual events. Particular congratulations to those boys who have only recently joined Swimming Squad and so were representing the school for the first time: Nicholas 3W, Marius 3C, Daniel 3L, Alan 3L, Nate 4W, James 5H.

Once the gala had finished the boys nervously waited to hear if we had qualified for the next round. With an impressive 450 points scored, we made it safely into second place and secured a place in the Grand Final!  Indeed, not only did we come second in the overall points, but we were able to win the year 4 age group!

Mr Chudzynski and Mr Bedford would like to thank the boys for all their hard work, and congratulate them on this brilliant achievement. We wish the team the best of luck in the Grand Final, which takes place later this term.

Dulwich Prep & Senior Announcement

We are delighted to share that we will be extending our provision from ages 3-13 to ages 2-16. Our first Year 9 cohort will start in September 2025.

As a highly commended school at this year’s Independent School of the Year Awards, we are excited to share that we will become Dulwich Prep & Senior.

We will continue to be a school of choice, maintaining our exceptional Prep offering with the option of staying to GCSE. Our support of families in finding the right senior school or sixth form at the right time for their sons will remain at our core, whether that be at ages 11, 13 or 16.

Our key entry points will be Nursery, Reception, Year 3, Year 7 and Year 9. Occasional places may be available in other year groups.

If you would like your son to be one of our ‘Trailblazers’ and join Year 9 in 2025 or 2026, please get in touch with our Admissions Department for further details.
