Café Copenhagen opened its doors to 1D yesterday, serving freshly cooked Danish pastries filled with a variety of scrumptious fillings.
As part of their cross-curricular topic on Denmark, class 1C peeled, chopped and stewed apples.
They then added either raspberries, blueberries, raisins or apricots (although in some cases all four!) onto a pastry base which they then crafted into traditional Danish pastry shapes.
As the 1D boys munched away at their Danish specialities, their 1C friends regaled them with facts they had learnt about Denmark.
With the washing up completed, all eyes now turn to 1D as they get ready to open their Spanish establishment for 1C – excitement is rife as to what might be served…
