Last week saw the boys return to the pool in the Independent Schools London League Semi Finals. The competition was very kindly co-hosted by ourselves and Trinity School with five other schools in attendance.
The gala started off with the individual events and the boys swam extremely well against some tough competition only finishing out of the top three, on three occasions. The relays came next and saw our real strength and depth by finishing in the top two in most races.
The competition ended with the squadron and in a nail biting finish we managed to catch Thomas’s Clapham on the last leg of the relay to win the race.
Overall the boys’ consistency across all events allowed us to come out on top beating last year’s winners and have qualified for the Grand Final to take place in the summer term.
