Three weeks ago the boys of Year 4 had a dance workshop with two dancers currently performing in the West End. From this initial stimulus Mr Bennett Surtees has been working with the boys of both Years 3 and 4 to prepare a ‘Flash Mob’ dance. Monday was performance day and to the delight of the Headmaster, the Lower School staff and members of the catering team the boys danced as year groups on the fort playground. It was not only the dancing that brought a smile to everyone’s faces but the way the other boys watched, encouraged and congratulated their peers for their dancing efforts.
