Year 3 Trip to Lullingstone Roman Villa

Posted: 17th October 2017

All dressed up and raring to go the boys boarded their coaches last Thursday; a hoard of gladiators and emperors! On arriving the boys were introduced to the world of Roman medicine; a strange and gruesome period. They then settled into discovering how Lullingstone villa worked, taking clues from artefacts to piece together history. The day ended with a quick stop at the ruins of a Norman castle of Eynsford. The trip was a great success in bringing together all that the boys have been studying this term, both in the lessons at school and their topic takeaway homework.
