Swimmers compete at the London Aquatic Centre

Posted: 21st November 2017

This Saturday the boys from the Upper School took part in the English Schools Secondary Team Finals at the London Aquatic Centre, Stratford.

This is one of the biggest competitions of its kind in the country with 385 schools taking part in the qualifying round, so to reach the finals is an achievement in its self.

The boys qualified in both the freestyle and the medley relay and arrived in awe of the 2012 Olympic pool. The boys swam well coming 10th in the medley and 13th in the freestyle.

The boys left having spent the day amongst some fantastic swimmers and swimming in the same pool that graced the presence of the great Michael Phelps.
