On Saturday our U13 Sevens Squad took the long journey to Millfield School to take part in their annual U13 Sevens Tournament. We played three matches in a group of four and ended up second in the group after losing, drawing and winning a match respectively. The boys played some really good sevens rugby, despite struggling against pace and size, which many of our opposition teams seemed to have in abundance. We went on to play the second placed teams in the other groups and once again came up against some very tough opposition but ended the tournament with a very convincing win against Taunton.
This was great preparation for our own Dulwich Prep Sevens taking place this Saturday at Gallery Road. Kick-off is at 10 o’clock, the final match takes place at 1 o’clock, leaving enough time to watch the final Six Nations matches.
