Last week Prep+ visited the theatre at the National History Museum, no better place to watch ‘Wider Earth’, the story of the voyage of 22 year old Charles Darwin on HMS Beagle and the discoveries that followed. The staging and performances were superb and we were so lucky to meet both Nick and David from Dead Puppets Society whose fantastic puppets made this such a remarkable production. A special thanks to producer, Trish Wadley for arranging this. Many boys have said they have gone independently with their families and thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful evening out where the themes of drama, science, geography, history and religion all intermingle in one of the great stories from history.
