Two teams of boys went to Dulwich College on Friday to join a host of other teams from South London schools in the seventh annual literary quiz organised by children’s authors from CWISL (Children’s Writers and Illustrators South London). Between rounds of highly challenging questions there were chances to meet authors, hear “one minute reads” from their books and compete for individual spot prizes. Our star readers performed admirably and our Year 6 team of George B, Debe, Theo D. and Max B. were runners-up for the special Year 6 trophy – only one point behind the winners! Congratulations to them and to our Year 7 team of Ollie H, Jacob H., Xander and Thomas McN.
