ISFA 7's Tournament

Posted: 9th October 2019

Last Thursday saw the U11 boys take the short trip to Alleyns for the ISFA 7’s Regional Tournament. The boys began well and work rate and passion shone through as they beat a really good Notting Hill Prep team 3-0 with goals from Josh, Noah and Callum. The following two matches were really tightly contested and could have went either way. Unfortunately DPL came out on the wrong side in both with a 2-1 to Newton Prep and a 3-2 defeat to Hornsby House. In the final game DPL played superbly and recorded a 1-0 win with a goal from Josh; with Noah making some superb saves in goal to keep another clean sheet.

A quarter final awaited. The boys were ready and gave absolutely everything but a better Dulwich College side were victorious; going on to win the competition outright. They boys showed passion and pride in all games and were a credit to the school. The team: Noah B, Callum N, Oliver S, Matthew H, Josh D, Noah C, Joey E, Joseph S, Sam W, Leo H.
