Just imagine an amazing West End show but, on a slightly smaller scale, and that describes the two Reception performances of ‘Hansel and Gretel’ in the Early Years. The children proudly and confidently acted and sang their way through the story. There were many magic moments as Hansel and Gretel met characters from other picture books like the ‘Three little Pigs’, ‘The Billy Goats Gruff’ and ‘The Three Bears’, even ‘the Gingerbread Man’ joined in the fun. The children looked beautiful in their colourful costumes and the vibrant set provided the perfect backdrop. All the children had fun entertaining their parents and our Nursery classes and staff were entranced as they watched too.
