A complimentary welcome drink, courtesy of Dulwich Gin, greeted Old Boys (including three who were girls in the Nursery!), former staff and former parents as they arrived for the inaugural Old Boys Quiz night. The evening was a resounding success! Over 135 sat down to solve the Prep-related bespoke questions asked by Paul Sinha, the Sinnerman of The Chase, who is a former pupil of the school and many of his contemporaries were there in support. A delicious curry supper provided by the school’s caterers sustained the guests before the second half of the quiz. At the end of the evening the winning teams enjoyed very generous packages of prizes whilst the Monteiths celebrated their Wooden Spoon with a 6-pack of Brixton beer! It was such an enjoyable evening that by popular request it will be repeated next year. Paul Sinha has even offered to return as quiz master next time around.
