Prep+ final outing

Posted: 27th June 2019

Prep-plus-2

The final Prep+ trip of the year went up to the West End to see ‘Six the Musical’ all set around the six wives of Henry VIII performing songs to illustrate why they had the most difficult relationship with the king. Full of rock ’n’ roll and ballads, dancing, energy and lots of laughs, comedy and put downs too between the Queens too, supported by an all-girl band. Everyone in the packed theatre ended up on their feet clapping and dancing along. Some good history too so supported learning too! Great fun and recommended.

That marks the end of the Year’s Prep+ programme. A special thanks to Mrs Quanrud and recently Miss Bennett for all their help in the busy admin task of managing the trips through bookings, places, waiting lists, updates etc. The trips couldn’t go ahead without them. A ‘thank you’ also goes to the Year 8 boys and parents who have supported Prep+ for several years; a few boys have certainly made the most of London!

A slightly more detailed report will come in this term’s Focus magazine. The Autumn term events are nearly set so watch out for a message towards the end of the holidays when waiting lists will open.
