Year 8 Trip to Wales

Posted: 20th June 2018

A select group of Year 8 boys arrived in Wales full of enthusiasm and determination. With the weather set fair, it was a perfect opportunity to have a lagoon swim on arrival – this set the boys up for what was an adrenaline fuelled week of activities. Rock climbing, abseiling and coasteering; culminating in a 9 mile hike up Snowdon provided challenges and opportunities for the boys to embrace.

It was great to see the boys show a sense of fun and eagerness towards all they did on the trip. They demonstrated resilience and courage when things got tough which will no doubt set them up well for their new school.

A huge thank you to all the instructors and staff who looked after the boys so well and guided them with professionalism and fervour.
