There was much excitement in Year 2 last week when a fire officer from the London Fire Brigade came to visit. The boys learnt about preventing, detecting and escaping safely from fire in their homes. The children heard about all about the protective clothing fire fighters have to wear, and even got to try on the uniform! I know that many of the boys returned home that afternoon determined to check and test their smoke alarms!
