The Prep takes to the slopes!

Posted: 23rd February 2016

A little dishevelled and bleary-eyed, a group of 45 boys and 6 staff met at 5am on Saturday 13th February to head off for Obertauern, Austria, for our annual ski trip. After the smoothest of journeys, we were having dinner in our hotel before we knew it and, after an early night, hit the slopes raring to go the next morning. Having been blessed with glorious sunshine last year, the odds were against us and we faced a mixture of snow, overcast skies and mist, with the occasional glimpse of sun. However, the snow itself was fantastic and the boys progressed more than ever before, with the beginner group attempting jumps by day four, and the intermediates taking on the infamous G2 with aplomb. When not on the slopes, the boys spent their time bumboarding, bowling, and quizzing. On top of this, they went night skiing, watched the Ski festival, took a sleigh ride through the forest and sung their hearts out on Singstar. It was another fantastic trip and next year cannot come quickly enough.
