Behind the Scenes: Our DPL Eco Mask Photoshoot

Posted: 14th May 2021

Face masks have become a part of our everyday life and, it seems, they are here to stay for a while longer.

As we look forward to celebrating ‘Eco Week’ during the last week of term, we are pleased to announce that Dulwich Prep London are producing face masks that have been made from upcycled surplus Prep uniforms. Our DPL masks were lovingly handmade by Sally Horder, a friend of the Prep, who has a small business called LuCha Facemasks. The fabrics used are thoroughly cleaned before being ‘upcycled’, there is a 100% cotton inner layer to the masks, and they are presented in biodegradable bags.

Freddy and Jasper, Year 3, kindly gave up their time to help by modelling the facemasks earlier in the week. We think they look just lovely.
