We are delighted that you are considering Dulwich Prep London for your child. Boys can start at the age of three and continue until Year 8 when they are 13 years old. Our Nursery is co-educational, and from Reception onwards we are a boys’ school. Our main entry points are Nursery (age 3+ for both boys and girls), Reception (age 4+), Year 3 (age 7+), and Year 7 (age 11+).
Exciting news! We will be opening a Senior School in September 2025, starting with Year 9, which will offer GCSE provision. Occasionally, there may be a few extra spaces available in other year groups, so please reach out to us to check for availability.
We recognise that every child is unique and seek children who will thrive in our environment and make the most of our exceptional offering. We assess each child’s potential and attitude towards learning and our school values; our assessments enable each applicant to showcase their strengths. We do this to ensure that all our children feel happy and successful within our school community and have access to the curriculum. Our admission standards exceed the average level of attainment for each age group, based on the National Curriculum.
