Our transport system is an example of our desire to help parents meet the demands of increasingly busy family and working lives. The system is comprised of a number of strands and allows parents to choose the combination that best suits their needs.
Firstly, to alleviate congestion at the front of school in the mornings and to speed up the drop-off for those with children at other local schools, we offer a walking bus from the Alleyn’s Head pub carpark. Pupils from Year 3 upwards can be dropped off from 7.50am and will walk the last couple of hundred yards to school with a member of our staff.
We also encourage our pupils to walk or cycle to school where possible and provide the recommended ‘safe routes.’ Those for Dulwich and Herne Hill can be downloaded from this page.
Finally, where our own systems are unable to meet a need, we have an arrangement that allows our boys to use the Foundation Coaches that serve Dulwich College, Alleyn’s and JAGS.
