Job Description

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and confident leader with a strong academic background to inspire and manage the Classics department from September 2024.

As well as leading a curriculum offering Latin, Classical Civilisation and extra-curricular Ancient Greek, the Head of Classics will manage the department’s financial and physical resources. We would welcome applicants who are strategic and creative, who have a belief in the power of teaching efficacy, and who have a willingness to be involved in the extra-curricular life of the School. QTS is essential, along with experience in teaching Classics to a high standard across KS3 and KS4 and a preparedness to teach KS2.
