Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Key Stage One SEND Teaching Assistant with a passion for children’s education to provide individual classroom support to pupils on the SEND Register, run specific interventions, support learning needs in small groups and on a one-to-one basis, and contribute towards reviews of pupils’ progress. You will share regular supervisory duties (including before and after school care) and actively promote positive, courteous relations with children, parents and colleagues.

The successful candidate will hold a Relevant Level 3 Diploma in Education and possess, or be willing to obtain, an accredited Level 5 Dyslexia qualification. Relevant experience of working with children with SEND and diagnosed with Dyslexia is essential.

This is a part-time role, working 0.6 FTE. This would ideally be worked as three full days a week; however, other working patterns may be considered.
