We are looking to appoint a motivated, experienced, and approachable Swimming Teaching Assistant to join our Saturday Morning Swim School team. With a pool on site, we want to help all pupils gain the lifelong skill of being able to swim efficiently and safely and to enjoy the process.
The successful candidate will have knowledge of current swimming technique practices and an understanding of safeguarding procedures. They will maintain positive, courteous relations with pupils, parents, and colleagues. They will also be responsible with setting up and clearing away at the end of each session.
An ASA / STA Level 1 Certificate and experience working with children in the past are desirable.
This role will require someone to work on Saturday mornings, 8am to 1.15pm, for 30 weeks per year during the School’s Term Time.
This is a fixed term contract till Saturday 25 May 2024 due to expected renovation work in the pool. However, we anticipate there being a permanent contract from September 2024.
